Baan Bangkhen

Baan Bangkhen opened in beginning 2017 and is owned by Mr.Sompong Pisankitvanich. He took his 5 rai (1 Rai = 1600sqm) large piece of land and transformed it into a both indoor and outdoor exhibition for everything old and vintage. The place consists of a number of houses especially build to look vintage too, with every house exhibiting items to one theme or topic only. The majority of houses shows every day life items from 50 or more years ago. An amazing time travel!

Upon entering the site you will see Baan Po Luang on your right and Baan Coke on your left. These two houses are not following the vintage aspect of Baan Bangkhen. Baan Po Luang is dedicated to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, King Rama 9 with extremely beautiful photos, pieces of art, old coins and ban notes and many other royal mementos. Baan Coke, the name gives a hint, makes you feel like being in the Coca Cola factory museum. Everything imaginable can be found here, Coca Cola style!

The other building/rooms are the old clock shop, old radio shop, the barber shop, traditional Chinese medicine shop, a school classroom from times long gone and an old style grocery store. Another highlight is the coffee shop which invites everybody for a short rest and a quick snack. Believe us, you will stay longer as even in the Cafe there is so much to see wherever you look!
